Considered the father of modern Swedish literature, and also a prolific artist, August Strindberg lived in what he called the “Blue Tower” for the last four years of his life. The house is faithfully preserved as he left it, and Strindberg’s study, living room and bedroom take visitors back to 1912. There are also many photographic portraits of Strindberg and his family, as well as photographs of places associated with him.
